ITV To Relaunch Friends Reunited

Friendsreunited_logo TELEGRAPH.CO.UK -- Mar 23 -- TV who bought Friends Reunited 2 years ago for £120m is poised to scrap subscription fees and relaunch it with a new look. The number of unique monthly visitors has plunged by 62% to 134,000 according to ComScore. Despite this, Friends Reunited and its associated dating and genealogy sites still have 24m members and 2.6m paid subscriptions. It is estimated that the combined sites generated around £14m of profits in 2007 on revenues close to £25m. Analysts believe many Friends Reunited users simply forget to cancel their annual subscription of £7.50. FULL ARTICLE @ TELEGRAPH.CO.UK
