Sony BMG And Italy's Dada To Build Mobile Social Network

BETA NEWS -- July 16 -- Sony BMG has joined up with Italian mobile-oriented social networking site Dada to build an entertainment service that works with both PCs and cell phones. The two companies will form a joint venture in the United States with equal ownership; Sony BMG will provide its music and video content, while Dada offers the Web-based infrastructure. Dada Q1 Results; up 56%

CNW -- May 14 -- Dada earned $47.8 Million in Q1. Dada's end user community and entertainment product services groups accounted for 72% of sales. "We are seeing 20,000 new paying subscribers a day, and had 17 million visitors in 23 countries last month alone," said CEO, Max Pellegrini. "Dada is also now working with 79 carriers in 16 different countries. The USA, Spain, and Latin America were the highest growth areas. EBITDA increased to $6.35 million from $4.59 million in Q1 2006. Google Ads To Appear On Social Networking Profiles
