Quepasa also served up 579M page views during the quarter, 29% ahead of where it was a year ago. In short, there may be fewer users around but they're more engaged even if they're not being monetized more effectively.

MARKETWIRE - Oct 5 - Quepasa has signed a global publishing agreement with Viximo to publish Wonderful City – Rio to alternative social networking platforms that collectively drive 150 million monthly unique visitors. The game had over 4.4 million installs across Quepasa.com, Facebook and Orkut with 850,000 daily active users as of August 31st.
PHILLYBURBS - July 20 - MyYearbook.com will be sold to Quepasa Corp. for $100M. Quepasa will pay $82M in common stock and $18M in cash in the deal. Catherine Cook and her brother, David, founded myYearbook.com while they were still high school students. Older brother Geoff serves as the company's CEO. Catherine is director of business development. Together, the two companies had annual revenues of $33.6M and earnings of $5.9M as of March 31.
